Dimensional Measurement

Automated Dimensional Measurement program running, using a 2mm ball probe on a Verus bespoke metrology fixture

Accurate Dimensional Measurement reported in real time is as critical to Verus as the lifesaving technologies our clients manufacture. The Verus collaborative process not only allows you to control the price but provides access to the OEM expertise, experience and innovative technology our professional metrology inspection team offers.

The Verus Metrology team uses advanced measuring instruments and technology to rapidly generate accurate verification of your designs and manufacturing processes and then compiles your data into comprehensive metrology reports.

From First Article Inspections through to Fit & Function Investigations, the Verus Dimensional Inspection service can help you shorten production cycles, identify and correct component problems, resolve disputes, improve quality controls and overall operational costs. We believe spending less can measure up.

Collaborative Process

Your projects will be customised and managed by an OEM and GD&T trained individual with whom you will have a direct line of communication; providing clarity, transparency, and updates daily, across all measurements. This approach enables our metrology engineers to work with you on a partnership basis and allows Verus to operate as your external inspection department. On request, Verus can also facilitate client collaboration on site across any of our three facilities.

Equivalent Process

Verus can offer you this Dimensional Measurement service on equivalent metrology machines, which guarantees confidence in the metrology data. In addition, we can also install a client metrology machine at one of our metrology laboratories, run all dimensional inspection metrology on the machines with our bespoke metrology fixtures and ship the metrology machine, programmes and fixtures to your site for installation and qualification ahead of the commencement of production metrology inspection.

Non-destructive Inspection

Non-destructive inspection services are also offered by our experienced metrology engineers to generate accurate dimensions without causing change or damage to your components. This method of inspection saves you production and manufacturing costs and helps improve the quality of the part.

Temperature Controlled and Monitored Laboratories

Verus has the experience and provisions required to fulfill all your inspection service needs. Our dimensional labs are ISO:17025 compliant and fully equipped with a wide variety of Inspection Machines that are serviced and calibrated each year. All CMMs and Vision Systems are placed in a 24-hour monitored temperature-controlled environment. Our diversity of machine types and capacity allows us to offer you a tailored solution.
