Scanning Launches Sept 2025
This October, Verus Metrology Partners will introduce its first in-house CT scanning capability with the ZEISS METROTOM 800 130 kV — purpose-built for high-resolution, non-destructive inspection of precision components. Designed to meet demanding quality standards, the system excels at capturing fine internal and external geometries in plastics, light alloys, and composite materials. It accommodates parts up to 50 kg and 500 mm in size, enabling complete dimensional verification of everything from complex surgical instruments to intricate automotive assemblies. Featuring a micro-focus X-ray tube, the METROTOM 800 130 kV delivers traceable measurement results in line with VDI/VDE 2630 1.3 standards. Paired with Verus-engineered CT scan fixtures, this capability ensures rapid, repeatable, and regulation-ready inspection — from part loading through to comprehensive 3D data evaluation.
