Verus Metrology Partners’ is a trading name of Verus Precision Limited, an Irish registered company under CRO number 457312 which is wholly owned by Verus Precision Holdings Limited, registered under CRO number 552367. We may refer to the company or group of companies as Verus or Verus Metrology Partners.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.verusmetrology.com (“Site”).

Personal Information We Collect

Our site will collect Personal Information that you enter into data fields on the Verus Metrology Partners website. How do we use your personal information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through our Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Verus is a group of companies operating under the holding company Verus Precision Holdings Limited. The Verus entity that provides services to you may depend on where you are located or what service you avail of. For Verus to carry out its services it may be necessary to transfer personal data within the Verus group for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with GDPR laws.

We may share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information as described above while assisting us in the improvement and optimisation of the Verus website. If you sign-up to receive our newsletter we will add you to our email list and you will receive an email with the latest information from Verus Metrology Partners. Every email contact will have an unsubscribe option so you can opt-out at any time. It is Verus’ practice to require such third-party service providers to keep your personal information confidential and to use your personal information only to perform functions for Verus and in accordance with Verus’ instructions.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through our Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.

You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data by Verus, to object to our Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions and you have the right to request that we transfer your data to another organization or to you directly, under certain conditions. Data Retention

We hold your information while you are a client of Verus and for a period of time after that. We do not hold personal information for any longer than is necessary.

In general, Verus will only store your personal information for as long as it is needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. When you place an order through our Site or make a quotation or service enquiry, we will maintain your Personal/Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We retain your information for the sole purpose of potential future communication in relation to future enquiries or business contracts.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. If we update our privacy or cookies policy we will let you know via the contact information supplied to us.

Withdrawing Permission

To withdraw permission for the use of your personal information, Verus Metrology Partners will provide an opt-out option on all of our communication with you, so if you decide that you do not want any further emails or any other forms of communication then we will delete your details permanently.
